I saw these too rj, weird thing is he supposedly was selling the same in his ebay shop when he was still alive, I had seen it and it was mentioned by other posters. I think he really needed to be more careful as to what he sold or may have given away, so it did come back like this, there were people close to him that were doing the same selling items he gave them, true it wasn't mri's, it just seems like ever sense his death everything has become ways for people to profit off of him or the other guys unfortunately, I have been staying off of fb for that reasons, too many want money for this or money for that.

I know! Wow. Actually I'm surprised that more bizarre things have not popped up, and maybe they have and I just haven't seen them. Someone's death tends to bring out the worst in people and family. The comments about the estate interested me. And no, I don't think it's anybody' right to know what the girls got or what it was worth etc. I mean about his name and usage of his image etc.....what a can of worms that would be with all the digital and social media issues. I see things all the time on Facebook for instance where people take a photographer's work--manipulate it--and then try to sell it as their own art. Even if this is for the DJEMF fund that is illegal.

Yes rj it is true about how a person's death effects people and family and brings the worse out in them sadly, I agree to its none of our business concerning family matters, I wouldn't want anyone to know my personal business either but some so called fans think its their right sadly. I know to about the person taking photographs they find on the internet and cleaning them up as they say, making the colors bolder, clearer and putting their watermark on it, although its hidden, I have never seen it, but post it on a page and you will get confronted by her and her gang ,she will claim its her photograph and has a page to sell them to benefit the herd, to me that's stealing someone else's work for profit and apparently nothing is done about it, the worse truly does come out in people.

The copyright infringers maybe don't even realize that they are doing it....at least I hope so. Sorry, sore subject for me--I've had it done to my work before. There was one I saw a while back that was a photograph (originally) of Davy winning his race. Then it shows up for sale as a re-done "art print". This is fine if the original artist gives their consent. Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's up for grabs.

I know I would be upset too. I doubt the person who owns the original prints even know this is happening, some of those prints have been put on pillows, etc., I don't know how you can get away with it unless the owner of the print see it, I would think with Davy's passing people would be more aware of what they have out there for this purpose, I know someone mentioned they had gone to the girls to see if they could sell some videos of Davy they had taken at a concert and they were told only if the estate gets a percentage so I don't know how you decide what is legit or not anymore

Meow,
Would you hang them on the wall, framed, like art?
Thanks for posting this, rj, it was interesting to see what is being sold on eBay.

Whoa! How on earth did the seller get ahold of those? That's not a copyright violation, that's potentially a violation of HIPAA! Usually patients do not get copies of their MRIs, so it is likely that somebody at the originating medical facility did something highly unethical. That is appalling.

I was on ebay earlier today doing some shopping and I did go to check the status on them, they were sold for $15.50 and if I remember there were 2 bids on them. I think in the notes from the seller he did mention he purchased these from Davy's ebay store a few years ago from Davy when he was alive, I think if there was some kind of legal/HIPAA I would think the family or estate would of taken some kind of action. My whole take on it is Davy was a bit of a pack rat, I remember the girls posting when they were cleaning out his house all the items they were finding, tons of saddles, an old car, etc. and maybe he did ask for the MRI's, who knows but I believe in the fb group these were posted in a few were commenting about how he sold alot of his personal items this wasn't the first time some had seen his xrays on ebay in fact when it was mentioned in the fb group by a few people things quieted down, he knew the interest was there and it was a way for him to make a buck, probably laughed all the way to the bank, the bitterness he had about all the financial taking advantage of when he was younger seemed to get worse as he got older just my take on things.

Meow,
Seems there were aspects of Davy's character that are beginning to emerge. Like he was a semi-hoarder.
But you know, I wouldn't put it past him to sell his x-rays as a gag. Does anyone know who was selling his stuff on eBay w/o his permission?
Brits have a strange sense of humor, I think.
Hello, flamingmo. Glad you have come back.
