Howdy, rj. Hope you are healthy, wealthy and happy as a bluebird.
Sometimes I think I should dump my cable, as I have to get on the phone every year with them to get an affordable monthly rate.
Then, I remember television from my youth. Four channels. And they do always reduce my cost. And I need them for my Internet connect.
Do you think Micky and the rest will tour next summer? I'm in Indiana, so I hope he/they goes/go to the Merrillville Star Theatre or Indianapolis.
I doubt he'd come to Indy w/o Mike & Peter. Those who have seen these three, write that their show(s) are more song performances rather than Davy's entertaining comedy bits. And that they do more of Mike's Monkee stuff.
I like Micky 3rd. Peter's silliness is more innocent. Micky's is a bit too cheesy at times.
But I do think Micky chose a great lady to be his third (and I hope for her, his last) wife. I think she likes and encourages his fans to meet and greet him. Not the jealous type, I'm thinking. Do you know if that's true?

Is there a difference between a quick reply and a reply? I thought I made another comment on this after I watched the interview and now I don't see it. Hi BK! Hope you're doing well too! I get all these specials in the mail about cabel and yeah its cheap for a while but I get paranoid about the rate you have to take when that special is up. My internet is through my phone company because the cable company is highly unreliable. And Dish Network etc is not an option because I live down in a valley with a ton of trees and you can't get connection. Especially if I decide I want/need to move somewhere before the contract is up. Not sure how much longer I can stand these winters! I'm in Iowa and I'm sure its as bad in Indiana. I would bet that they go out again for their 50th anniversary. So sad that Davy isn't still here for that.

Where I am, we get more ice storms, which makes driving very hazardous for me. I live in the semi-rural, so the city is a 15 minute drive. Down an Interstate, but still slick. I don't travel alone in the Winter due to mobility junk.
My city has Time Warner (cable/tv/phone/internet combo) and a company called, WOW (same) and Dish & Direct TV. My family had Dish, got way too expensive and reception isn't that great in the country. So, we switched to TW for around $145/mo.
I don't get OWN channel, so I have to wait and see if anyone can post Oprah's Micky interview. Getting OWN on TW is more expensive.
