I saw James Taylor last night in concert and it was truly amazing. He's been on my "bucket list" to see ever since the late 60's/early 70's, just never got around to it and I regretted missing out when he was touring with Carole King a couple years ago. When Davy passed away it made me realize that there really isn't time to do it later. These guys aren't going to be on the road forever. Do it when you can. His voice is just exactly like it was back then and his tour band is just as wonderful. Anyway, if he's "comin' to your town" on this tour make an effort to go--you really won't be disappointed. On a side note, his sense of humor is great as well, bantering with the audience and introducing his songs and why he wrote them.

How cool I love him too, we have tickets to see Neil Diamond in April and I can't wait, saw Paul McCartney last summer, fantastic, these older rockers still have it!!

I saw Neil Diamond a long time ago and it was good. I've never seen McCartney. I was going to try and see the Stones the last time they went out but the closest they were was Chicago and when I checked on tickets, they were going for $500 ea plus the cost of travel and a hotel room..............NOT! So that got taken off my bucket list! I should have done more of this "in my youth" when concert tickets were actually affordable!

Having been to alot of concerts Neil Diamond was the one I have been anxiously waiting to see, I saw the Monkees back during the 45th Anniversary tour and last summer, I did enjoy the difference with Mike being there, it was alot of less interaction and schiek as Davy would say but I enjoyed all the music and Mike really seemed to be enjoying himself, too bad they couldn't get it together when Davy was still alive, saw Rod Stewart last summer too and for a 68 year he still has it, if you haven't seen him and get the chance he is one not to miss.

Excellent! I heard James Taylor has such a great rapport with the audience. I am glad you got to see him RJ!
Sandee, wasn't Sir Paul marvelous? I also saw him this past summer, what a treat!
Thanks for sharing!

Jealous of both of you! Or at least envious! I would really like to see McCartney. I was a huge Beatles fan...until that got replaced by the Monkees ha. LOL. All my Paul McCartney posters got covered up with Davy Jones' face.

Paul was wonderful, I so enjoyed the Live and Let Die and all the pyrotechnics, scared the willies out of me, it has to be one of the best concerts I have seen, hopefully Neil will be good too!!

Meow,
I'm making a bucket list now that I'm in my 50's.
Davy's sudden passing really caused me to stop wasting time. It will take socking money away and doing without unnecessary wants, but I'm determined to have the bucks to start crossing off items on my list.
Actually, I like his ex-wife, Carly, a little bit better. I like his Fire & Rain song, however.
Hey, Sandee123. Great to hear from you again. Hope you are happy & full of holiday joy as this year comes to a end.
Purr.
